The medical emergency service at the Andreas Clinic is provided by FMH(1) anaesthetists who are in attendance at the clinic ensuring the safety of patients 24 hours a day.
In addition, there is an on-call service of FMH specialists in medicine, surgery, gynaecology and obstetrics, ear, nose and throat disorders, orthopaedic surgery, urology, neurology, ophthalmic disorders, paediatric illnesses and radiology.
This 24-hour on-call service is available immediately in case of need. For emergency procedures, an experienced and highly effective team of doctors, surgical and anaesthetic personnel and midwives can be on hand within a very short time.
Following the procedures, patients are cared for by highly-qualified nursing staff around the clock. The safety of patients is ensured at all times thanks to a modern monitoring system (for blood pressure, ECG, oxygen saturation, etc.) that is linked to the medical service. Our personnel receive regular in-service training in the management of any emergency situations.
